I recently noticed my rear coils are turning orange on me. How long will they last once they start rusting? They're about two years old now.

 

dunno? maybe another 10-15 years


its called surface rust....break down and buy some rustoleum

 

Seeing that they are about an inch thick and you don't keep your rig submerged in salt water, about 30 or 40 years. I'm not trying to be funny, just a realist. Those are some pretty heavy coils of steel to rust through anytime soon IMO.

Flat nasty, hannibal rocks, and rockport are the closest parks to me...

we also hit up mark twain forest trails and some private property about 30 minutes south of the city....where u wheel? live?

 

I'm across the river in Alton. I've never been to any of the parks near here, usually attend the local mud bogs in Brighton, Carrollton and a few spots off of the great river road. Where is Mark Twain? I know the other parks are at least 2 hours away.
