Rusted panhard axle mount

I pulled the rear springs on my 4runner yesterday to finally add my 1.5" spacers. It looks great now, btw. But, I ran into two issues:

First, the panhard bar axle mount is rusted away enough that the back side of the mount will probably break clean off within the next month or so. Then the bolt will just be connected through one hole and will not really be doing it's job. How have people addressed this? I thinking I just need to take it to a welder and have him scab on a new plate with a mounting hole.

Second, I broke the left swaybar endlink, trying to take the 12mm nut off the top. Rusted and seized it was. Are there cheaper aftermarket options for endlinks? Or do I have to spring for a $60 OEM one?

Definitely weld on some new metal.

I offer some beefier end links and discos for about the price of OEM.

Will do.

For the endlinks....I wish I could spend $$ on a complete new set, but I'm guessing it's over $100 for both ends, especially if it's nice equipment. I really just need one for now, cheap as possible. Thanks though.

How bad is it to drive the truck without the panhard bar attached? I'm going to the metal shop tomorrow to have him look at it, so it should be fixed soon....but I'm just wondering if all I was doing was driving easy on pavement around town, it shouldn't hurt anything to drive without the panhard bar attached right?

Would not advise driving w/o the pan-hard bar attached. This keeps the tracking of the rear axle straight. Without it, the axle could move to the left or right which would make the vehicle pretty unstable while driving.

It's getting welding next tuesday. I don't think I'm going to drive it at all between now and then.
