running boards are off, not sure what to do with the hole?

how long does it take to do this...i'm not sure if i want to do it to mine yet or not.

Took about an 45 minutes to an hour - I love it without the running boards, although it does make the 4Runner look a bit smaller.

That is brilliant! I think the foam getting wet may cause some sort of weird mold though... but it was a good idea.

Also, I took mine off because I have rock sliders I need to put on still, but yeah, does make it look much higher.

Yeah, not worried about the plastic rusting out , it's the metal above it... but some of you made a good point to leave it open to let it drain. I guess if you seal it and water gets in there from somewhere else, then problems would be worse.
