Rt. Front Brake Locking up

Hi All

My daughter was complaining that her brakes were acting funny. So I took it out for a drive in the snow and ended up doing donuts when the the right front brake locked up after a simi-hard stop. The only way I could unlock it was by backing up. Has anyone seen this problem on 96 4Runners? ABS maybe?

Thanks for any help.

did you try bleeding them. my buddy flipped his truck because he stupidly forgot to bleed his brakes, which caused them to lock up

could be a bad caliper. I have the same problem, but it hasnt happened it a while.

See if the pads are wearing unevenly on each side.

How would a brake system lock up by not being bleed? All my experiences with air in the lines is complete LACK of brakes.

This sounds like a good next step, thanks.
