rough shifting gears
hello all
i had a question for all you experts out there. i have a basically stock automatic 99 highlander with 105k miles and am starting to experience some problems. i noticed that when the truck shifts into a higher gear i actually feel the gear change. with the windows down i can actually hear a "clunk". is this common with age/mileage of the truck? this is my only vehicle and drive it almost 100 miles/day. i can't get it into a shop until next thursday, will i be ok driving it until then? thanks

i know that the tranny has not been flushed in the last year. the driveshafts were lubed yesterday with no difference. do you think flushing the tranny would take care of this? how often should the transmission be flushed?
