I have some pretty decent sized chips in the paint on the rocker panels on my 4Runner. These have not gone to bare metal and I touched them up. I am looking for something to put over them to keep this from happening. I have done some looking but have not been able to find any trim pieces to fit my 4Runner.

Any ideas where I might find some?

 

I saw clear 3M protective film somewhere. Could be cut to fit and nearly transparent. I can't for the life of me remember where I saw it. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
