Replaced Tumbler, Won't Start

Hey!

a Friend of mine has a 2000 4runner that had a tumbler issue (key wouldn't turn), ordered a replacement, installed it... Now key turns, cranks, but does not fire. Check engine light is also on. Is there a sensor that was thrown off? Any suggestions?!

Might want to look into if the truck has a theft deterrent, it sounds like it, if it does you will have to possibly take it to the dealership.
