Removing grille on 2nd gen (93) runner

I am trying to remove the grille on my 93 SR5 V6 4runner.

I can see and release all the little clips along the top and there are three fairly big ones lower down an one each end behind/under the corner lamps.

What is the trick without breaking them ? From underneath ?

It almost looks like I need to remove the fricken bumper but that mkes no sense...thanks for your help

long screw driver, get the clips, then just kinda pull up and out.....make sure you've taken off the side marker lights first...

Cool E,

I may just pull the bumper off as I am itching to start messing with this truck and now is as good a time as any to see how it all fits together.
