After class is over, when I get in my car I will check the manual to see what it says about it.

I would assume that since I'm not THAT much over the mileage and as far as they and I know this is going to be the first time to replace it so...as far as I am concerned I need a new one!

Thanks for the help,

Fink

My manual does say that I am entitled to a free one. I went to my dealer and the first guy I talked to had never heard of that and then the service manager had heard about it and had to call the local Toyota Service Rep and see what they wanted to do about it. HOPEFULLY it will be free. If not then the 02 sensor is gonna cost me ~100.

Before you change the fuel filter, run a good fuel system cleaner through so any garbage in the fuel tank will be trapped in the old filter, not the new one. BG44K I think is a full fuel system cleaner and has worked well for me. Pricey, though at $20 for a can. A little known, but specialized, oil company call Schaeffer Oil has a product called Neutra that is also very good at about $2-3 per bottle but can also be bought in gallon sizes, too. PM or email me if interested and I'll give you a #. I think the supplier is located in Arkansas, too.
