regearing without bigger tires
If i regear to 5.88's with 31" or smaller tires will i see a drastic imporvement in acceleartion? how big is the loss in top speed?

fwiw, since we're driving slightly different rigs... i've got 4.56 and (as of this writing) 31s on my '95 pu, and can easily chirp the tires. i haven't timed a quarter-mile or 0-60, but it still gets up and walks the dog.
