I wanted to know if anyone is running this atf fluid in there 4runner. I contacted Redline and they informed me that that is the correct fluid for my truck. I'm unsure since I have not been able to confirm any of this information on the board.

I use Red Line High Temp ATF (Dexron II/III) on my truck. Red Line D4 ATF meets Dexron II/III and the newer Dexron IV requirements. So, yes, it should be ok to use on your truck's tranny. I believe we have the same A340F tranny which requires Dexron II ATF as a minimum.

You should be fine as Roy said above. It's an upgraded version of Dex 3.
