Ok, I've read about this being a problem and mine finally rusted away to the point that their is nothing left except crumbling rusted control arms and nothing to attatch the rubber guides to. Is this the window regulator that I need to replace or does it have a different name? Does anyone know a good place to find replacement parts? It's a 1995 4Runner. The motor still works fine. Thanks ahead of time.

Well you can usually find the whole window regulator on places like ebaymotors if you goto the stealership it's going to be big bucks. I replaced my rear window guides myself it wasn't to hard to change them you have to pull the whole window out to do it though. Basically I used dremel to grind away what was left and lightly pryed with a screwdriver they came off. I used a rubber hammer to put the new ones one I lightly tapped them on until they were snug with the glass.
When I got my window glass guides they were about $40-50. My rear window doesn't work now but it's not the mechanism the motor is toasted on mine.
