Rear-view mirror!

Rear-view mirror!
My 2000 LTD 4x4's rear view mirror is loose! Shaking it indicates that the contact between the mirror and the roof is moving. Wondering if this happens to anyone and what are the cures for it!

Well, I have something similar.
My left-side side mirror shakes too.
Or it kind of does a little more of a vibration thing whenever I hit bumpy roads and so forth.
But it doesn't interfere with the view.

Well, the problem solved!
I just fixed the center rear-view mirror by completely disassemble it then re-attached the two retainers...apparently they were loose! now it's solid as it's supposed to be.
King, I am not sure about the side-view mirror though. There may be something loosing inside.
