rear shock problem.

i am having some problems out of (what i think) is my rear shocks....i am running a 2" AAL in the rear with stock TRD shocks. when i go over any kind of bump or drop off it sounds like its clunking. so my question is do i need extended shocks? i was thinking billstein 5100s or am i on the wrong path completly?

The stock Trd bilstiens are to short for 2 " of lift
so yes you need longer shocks.

Are you sure that's where the clanking sound is coming from though??
