rear shock lift question

im looking into getting new shocks pretty soon for the rear for my 01 tacoma. also ill be getting a 1" shackle. so my question is do i need longer shocks for this? are rancho's good? bilstein or tokico trek masters? and has anyone experienced the 1" shackle? do you have to do any tail pipe mods for this? thanks

Wouldn't hurt to get a little bit larger shock. I know Old Man Emu shocks are at least 1" longer.

Not sure on the tail pipe thing, but my guess is yes. Seems like whenever you do anything with the rear of a Tacoma you'll have to move the pipe.
