Rear Door Control Module

Hey guys, this is my first post since 2003ish. It's good to be back in a Toyota, but I have a question about my new-to-me '97 4runner SR5.

I've been having issues with the rear doors functions, specifically the window motor and the rear wiper. I traced the issue to the control module and the rear window relay. I called the dealer about getting a new module, but they want $560 for one. That's not going to happen in a 19 year old truck with almost 240k miles on it.

I checked the local salvage yard in hopes of finding a used module, but they don't have much of anything Toyota.

Is there an online source that may carry this part, or a company that may be able to repair the circuit board?

Any advice is appreciated.

I had a similar issue with my 97's, turned out it was the key up down control corroding, it would actually roll down on its own on random occasions with nobody around (power all the time switch), usually a problem when it was raining or snowing. I deleted the wires for the key control and it was fine. I have also heard of others finding broken wires in the boot buy the hinges causing other issues. I have a few of those ECU's now..

I'll look into the key switch. I did have some cracked insulation on the wires between the body and the rear door, no wires were broken though and I did fix the insulation.
