Rear Defroster won't work

I have a '99 sr5 and my rear defroster isn't working. Any ideas?

is your window all the way up? heh, one time mine was just barely down and i couldn't see that it was, and mine didn't work. i felt stupid when i rolled it up?

same here, I haven't figured out how to fix it yet either. Sometime is DOES work....but only in this little T looking pattern right at the bottom of the window!

I'm thinking Rain-X Anti-Fog....worked great in my VW w/ out heat!

I am having the same problem...check your fuses. I know in my dads pickup there is a fuse for the defrost...I will check mine when I get a chance.

Thanks for the advice, don't think the window is down, but will check. I will also take a look at the fuse box. Let me know of any other ideas!!

Have you checked the wires to the back window , they break off near where it connects to the glass .
