i have a 92 runner and iam makeing a rear bumper for it but i dont want it to wrap around like the stock one i have seen on some 89 runner have covers for the bottem of the rear fender and was wondering if they would fit my 92 ??? i took my bumber off to take see how i would mount the new bumper i making and it is ugle under the corners of the bumper where the cover.

 

Yup, that's why most people hide that part by making a wrap around design, plus it adds protection. If you haven't seen my bumper, do a search.

I'm not sure what you mean by the covers on an 89 4runner. Do you have a picture?

 

i dont have a pic but on 89's they have a pickup bumper but behide the rear tire there is a piece of plastic that covers that ugle spot on the bottom of the fender its only about 9in long and 4in high
