Talking Ready to pull the trigger on the t-15!

well guys, I'm ready to pull the trigger and purchase a tjm t-15 for my '98 runna.

With regards to install, what do I need to look out for? I've heard people often get their TJM with missing parts? True? Other than that, it's pretty much plug and play?

Can anyone point me to pix of a 3rd gen w/ standard SR5 trim and a t-15? (just trying to get an idea of what it looks like)

Any suggestions and comments are welcome....I'm STOKED!

My 96 was an easy bolt on. No issues what so ever. Came with all the correct pieces and everything bolted right on. Only problem was getting a couple of the old bolts off (dang rust).

A couple of pics (more pics on my site)...

Jackson....wow! looks awesome....now, was the TJM bumper able to be lifted up to fit your gap w/ that 2" BL? IIRC, they can be lifted...but not so w/ the ARB bumpers?

Now, if Mike at xtreme will just back to me....!

The TJM brackets do allow for a bit of adjustment (vertically), but not enough to fit my 2" body lift. In the second pic, the bumper is mounted as high as it would go, and there is still a noticable gap. I may look into custom brackets at some point, but right now it's not that big of a deal to me.

I didn't have any problems with my TJM T15 bull bar installation. All the parts required are in the box when I received it. Here are some pics.

A few pics of my T-15

All parts were there - install was a piece of cake. Just make sure you tighten all the screws on the turn signal lights. Mine came very loose - and I forgot to tighten them down and lost one of the screws.

I lifted my ARB about an inch, to get the other inch I had to have the holes torched out and I trimmed a bit on the brackets. It seems that the TJM works similarily.

I paid $698 shipped to my residential address. I think it is like $16 cheaper fom 4x4connnection if you can ship it to a commercial add. SInce I do not have one, it will be cost more to get them to ship it to my place. And I get a high lift from them too and shipping is free with my bumper so I guess it is not that bad afterall. Brian rocks!! Ijust met up with him and get the high lift adapter from him. Very good quality and cheap!!!

I am not sure if they offer a better price to ship it to a commercial add, but I doubt it. THis is the number 1800-566-3646. You can check with them.

Cingratulation!!!! I got mine this morning a quater to 8 too!!! Mine was on a skid, I helped the guy to unload it from his 18rh wheeler!! The package is huge and heavy, just like the way you described, it is in a box wrapped with heavy duty plastic!! It is hard for me to put it in my apt. I just left it with my truck now and probably put it on today!!! I know how you feel, I feel like this now

Congrats on the new purchase. I just modded my T-15 to get rid of the side hoops that I never cared for all that much.
