Rattling from OME 891's

I put my OME 891's on about a month ago and I have heard a rattling noise ever since. Today I realized that if I hit the driver side spring it makes the horrible rattle noise. Has anybody ever had this problem and what was the problem, how did you fix it?

You can jack up the rear and try re-seating the coil again.

Also, I noticed this with my old PP 1" lift coils. I had one which was on the rear passenger side that just did not fit quite right and always rattled a bit. I could rattle it by hand with the full weight on the coil. It rattled when I would first start driving after the Runner was parked for awhile. After a few minutes it would settle down and wouldn't make any noise unless I drove over something big like a deep pothole or large speedbump.

I used to have spacers on the back so I think that I am going to cut the spacer so about 1/2" is laeft and put it in there and hopefully the spacer will isolate the noise.

I have run just the bare springs and the springs with aluminum Cornbred spacers, it must not be seated correctly, because with my all metal parts, I never got any noise ever.

If there is a load on the springs at all you shouldn't be able to rattle them.
I agree with Steve....try reseating them.

I reseated the springs twice and they still made noise. I then cut my old rubber spacer down to 1/2" put that on top to hopefully isolate the sound. I didn't hear the sound for a couple of days and it started agian.

I don't know what to do.

I have two possibilities that I can think of what is going on. The rattling may be coming from between the end of the coil where it wraps around a the top and touches the coil below it.

Or could the spring just be like a tuning fork. When you hit it is pings.
