Racing Stripe - Decal

Anyone have pics of a 3rd gen with a colored stripe along sides.

I have a white 97 and was thinking of black or red 4" stripe.

Also considering rally stripes (or offset single stripe) on hood/roof/tailgate.

I don't think you should do it, just for the sense of cleaniness.

Are you talking about the oldschool toyota side banners they did on the older trucks? I'd say leave it off, they come off with high pressure washers or if they don't do that, they can bake into the paint down the road, and just ruin the appearance of the truck overall.

Instead, get the TRD 4x4 stickers for your back quarter panels

Dont you love getting the "oh dood that will look dumb, dont do it dood" remarks? I know I think its ghay to hear those comments. Its your rig, you need to customize it to your liking. I am post 7. That means the other six were worthless answers. If this is what you want to do then I would look at www.edecals.com for starters. check out ebay to. good luck.

I just bought "TRD Sport" stickers but since then they've disappeared from ebay and the Street Graphics site was down last time I checked. Did Toyota threaten legal action against the guy making those reproductions? I can't believe the stealerships charge almost $50 a side.

You could always Photochop it first to see if you like it. That's how I usually tell if my ideas will look good or bad (usually bad).
