quiet exhaust for 3.4l 4runner??
hi everyone, i'm new as you can tell, and i just got a 97 4runner a while ago. i was wondering if anyone could give me an idea on a quiet exhaust setup for the 4 runner, i wanna do a single in/dual out muffler setup and put the spare tire in the back. i'm just looking for something that will flow decently, give it a little better sound, but stay pretty mellow sounding. thanks.
oh btw, would anyone know what a good price on tint all the way around would be on a rig like mine? i'm guessing somewhere around $300, but that's just a guess. again, thanks, and sorry for the lenght.

Not too sure about the exhaust question, although I think Corey had a page with several different setups with sound clips. Not sure what if he got a new host site yet or not. As for the tint, $300 is way too much IMO. I only paid $60 for the two front doors, so I think $200 is a little more realistic. Of course you should shop around near you and find the best price. Most places will try to beat another's if you can get a quote in writing. Welcome to the forum by the way!

I don't know about exhausts either, but I think $200 is about right for tint. $300 is too much. I spent $120 on all my windows, but I did their business cards for them so they hooked me up

I wanted a quiet exhaust for my 95 4Runner so after searching all the posts and listening to Corey's page, I emailed Magnaflow and asked them. They recommeded a #12245. I bought and had a 2.25 cat-back exhaust installed. Yes, it's quiet. My wife doesn't complain anymore and it has a deeper tone, a little more power and seemed to help the gas mileage 1-2 mpg.
