Quick TRD Coil Question

Sorry for another one of this threads. Red/Blue over the yellow/yellow I can not find any info besides that they "might be stiffer" than the blue/ yellow. I have a set I am looking at for the right price. Do you think I should just keep looking? Is anyone riding this set up current or has had it? Please let me know if you have any info, thanks.

I think you're asking a question that many people have wanted to know over the years. The problem with the color codes is that they can apparently not be reconciled to a single reliable source. Maybe I'm wrong on that, but there's nothing consistent about spring rates. I think doing a TRD spring lift is an excellent idea, but there's so much guesswork that I ended up going with OME, then eventually SwayAway. The only guy I can think of that has TRD coils up front is Gerdo. Here is his build thread: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f79/...profile-85724/
If that doesn't answer your question you could try PM'ing him.

Thank you for the insight. Ill shoot him a message. It is kind of a headache figuring out if I should go for it or not. Time will tell I suppose.
