I just discovered after running my 3rd gen 4runner with and without the front swaybar both on the street and off-road, that I'm going to take off the front swaybar all together, and just run the rear swaybar. The ride is a lot smoother, and the body roll and brake dive isn't that much worse.

I agree with ravencr, I've had them off my 2nd gen for a long time now, no complaints.

I don't recommend removing the rear swaybar unless you are a very conservative driver on the road. And actually, Steve, Gadget, and many others have discovered that with the proper length endlnks on the rear swaybar, the 3rd gen's do not lose any travel using the stock rear swaybar, so why take it off when it drastically improves the body roll.
