Question on replacing PS/AC/ALT belts
Guys, forgive me if this has been discussed before. I did a search and still I have the question. My 98 2.4L tacoma has the screeching sound for some time now. It's getting worse and worse. I did put belt dressing on and I don't think it worked out for me. After I installed my new starter a few days ago, I decided to tackle the belts now. I will buy new belts from Autozone.
My question is whether it's just as simple as loose the adjustment bolt and lock bolt for PS/AC/ALT, and I can take out the belts and put the new ones on? I looked under the hood and it seems to be that the engine is connected to the fan, and it seems I have to take out radiator and fan to get the job done. Did I get this wrong? If you can give me some step by step instructions, that'd be great.
Thanks so much!!
