Question about tps part numbers.

My TPS is bad so I figured that since the 22re is such a common engine that a TPS would probably be 30 or 40 bucks. Well turns out it is nearly $300 for an 85. But for an 86 its only like $120 and for a 92 its like around $100(Advance Auto). My question is even though they are different part numbers, will they all act the same? I have an 85, so if I installed say an 88 or 92 TPS would I have any ill side effects?

I just looked up a TPS for your 85 on 1sttoyotaparts.com and they sell them for $121.76. I love that place
