Purchased MAF on Ebay. THink I got scammed

Hey all,
I purchased THIS on Ebay since it was advertised as a 2JZ-GTE MAF. When I received the part, it doesn't look anything like the 2JZ MAFs I'm used to seeing. The part number on it is 22204-42011. I did some research on the p/n here and discovered it's actually from a 7MGTE engine. When I e-mailed him about it, he swears it came from his '93 Supra Targa. My question is: Is there any way this MAF could have come from a stock MKIV? Or am I correct in assuming this part was misrepresented?

Thanks!

93.3% positive feedback score on a seller with 39 transactions is pretty lousy. You gotta watch who you buy from. Sorry to hear you got screwed. I've yet to be screwed on ebay but I'll only buy from sellers with 99+% positive feedback and I won't buy from new sellers.

Here's the kicker - he had a 98% feedback rating when I bought it. After that auction ended, someone else left negative feedback.

Alan, unfortunately the part numbers don't lie. Don't beat yourself up over it, but I always make sure to ask for P/N especially when the auction is as vague as that one was. Just put it back on eBay and see if you can at least make some of that money back.

my theory is if its too good to be true...it probably isnt true.

I hope you get everything worked out...but it doesnt seem that you lost too much cash on it.

Talked with a friend of mine who works at a Toyota parts counter. He said there was no way it could have come from a 93+ Supra. I entered a dispute with Ebay and left negative feedback.

I, too, am glad there wasn't more money involved. It still makes me mad.
