I realized tonight that my billet grille is somehow interfering with my horn..i seldom use it, for it is extremely annoying...but tonight i happened to tap it while parked...and was surprised to find that it wasn't working correctly. It sounds like the grille is somehow muffling the horn..and the horn makes the grille vibrate..or at least that was what i gathered from the brief encounter. I plan on gettin at it tomorrow to see what i can do..i meant to play around with it whe i got home but i forgot. Anyone have any guesses as to what the problem is before i get at it??

I actually would like to replace the stupid thing all together..as Jason did...but that seems low on the priority list @ this point in time...

 

Yeah, I have a '98 and the horn sucked, so i went to AutoZone and got a $15 horn. much better. Dont know why your grill is messing up your horn though. I haven't seen many billet grills for them.

 

The only thing that I can think of is that the grille is actually touching the horn, and when you activate the horn, it vibrates the grille because they are touching. Maybe just a thought! :fireman:
