Pre-mature burnout...
...Of headlights...
Does anyone know anything about the service campaign regarding pre-mature headlight burn out?
After using SLCpunk's free Carfax lead I got interested in recalls, so I called the Toyota 1-800 number, which confirmed that my 3.0 is still elligible. In Canada it's called "Camapign 802 - pre-mature head gasket failure, same as V06.
They also advised me that there is a campaign (008) regarding pre-mature headlight burn out, which seems self-explanatory.
However, I don't recall seeing anything here about it.
Anyone had it done?
Does the Dealer do anything other than offer up a free set of headlights??
