power steering box leak
Recently I adapted a mini pickup power steering box (solid axe) into my 81` FJ40. After spent a lot of time and money... now my ?new? steering box is leaking hydraulic fluid. (seal shaft near the pitman)
Does anybody knows if it difficult to repair (install a gasket/seal rebuild kit) or if exist a repair manual or document on the web where I can find information. This is because I want to repair it by myself.
Thanks

ahh, i assumed you had an IFS box, which is what everything had up here after '85(good and bad...good for crossover steering, but bad for the lack of a solid axle).
i have an '80 FSM...if i can't find anything online i might copy the pages on the overhaul procedure up for you.

Thank again!!
I forgot to say that I live in Chile, South America (Then...sorry for my bad english).
Here, toyota minipickup (Hilux for me) came with solid front axle until 1992.
Here is a picture of my ex-pickup a 1991 Toyota, doublecab, solid axle, factory 4.88 gear, P/S.
That was my best pickup ever, unbreakable.
