Would power 4runner seats work in a Taco with manual seats? I've read somewhere that all Yotas are wired for power seats, you just have to connect the cables... any truth to that?

In short yes, maybe. I upgraded my 2002 tacoma with power heated seats from a 2001 runner. I know someone on TTORA did a 99 or 00 model with power runner seats and he only had to bend the front left front foot on each seat to make them fit. I had to cut mine off and use those on the runner seats.

Power, yes, there should be a plug under your seat, buried beneath the carpet. Mine was 2 wire, white, and white black. White is hot, WhB is ground, and this is power with enough juice for both seats. This runs through the 30 amp power fuse, that runs power windows, locks, etc. If you do not have this then it could be more complicated.

Wondering if there were anymore opinions on this, thanks! Planning on getting a 2000 Runner leather seats and hope my rig was hooked up for electric seats from the factory.
