Pretty tight setup, I wonder how those w7s sound... Are they in a sealed enclosure? So you get no dimming whatsoever? And how do you have 6k watts total?

shady-

Yeah, no blinking at all after the yellow top, some new 4 guage leads and grounds and the isolater. As far as the 6000 watts, here is the equation:

2 mtx 1501's (1 to each W7)
1 orion xtreme 1200 (new 6W0's in each door)
1 orion xtreme 800 (focal tweets, earthquake mids/highs, etc.)
1 eclipse 1000 watt something...lol (6.5 rear components Kappa perfects)
1 Rockford 1000.2 (new 6WO's in center console, under rear seats)

let me add this up real quick...7000 watts there, so i feel 6000 may be a little high, but not too far off. Have hit 182 Db a few times...we are pushing for 200, if at all possible...lol...hope that helps.

I have to agree with stoutshady, I love your system but theres no way in hell you hit 180. The current world record is about 3-4 dB lower than that. Check out this setup he currently has the record. http://www.termpro.com/asp/competito...etitor_ID=9610

I know the w7s hit hard but thats just not enough for those kind of numbers.

Check out this guys rig. Hes running a true 2600 rms to each of his w7s and hits a 158.8. http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/425074/4

Is that North or South Hedges? Reminds me of my days as a freshman, those are long past, are they still having big parties and bonfires up Hyalite?

Here is what I know about the Db. One of my buddies checked it and got a reading of 167...he has done this a few times and always gets somewhere between 165-170. A local who I dont know that well at all took a meter to it one day and told me he hit 182...??...problem is, i havent even seen a Db meter that goes over 140...I am truly clueless about all of this...guess i got suckered into their bs...my bad.

As far as Masta Gata...he is a 100% true Florida Gator. He'll grow to a max of 22' and could live to be 100...definitely longer than me. By far the coolest pet I have ever had. He is just about 1 year old now, his teeth have grown a ton over the last few months...I'll have some new pics of him up soon. He is about 26" long. Had him out last night for a couple girls to touch. You are correct about it being illegal to own one...as of jan 1 04' only zoos can get them. I bought him when they were still legal to buy. The cayman's you mentioned are cool as hell too, just slower and fatter, and dont get near as big. I actually have to sell him by may, so if anyone is interested, just let me know...I'll cut a very very cheap deal for all the equip., etc., as long as I know he is going to a good home.

Later all,

Billy

ok, you had your lizard out last night for a couple girls to touch? hmm, that kind of sounds like a 3-some.

that's too bad you gotta get rid of him. hey, I'm not telling, so why don't you try to keep it. when it gets too big, let it loose in the sewer system and then Burt Reynolds can come and hunt it down. haha.

anyhow, yea, I know about caymens. My wife is from panama and they are all over around the locks in the canal. I have a bunch of pics of them and some video too, but it's on 8mm sony tapes and I sold the video cam so I can watch them. gators and croc's are my favorite non-human creatures. there just cool to watch.
