Nice looking ride man. We'll have to get together at the mounds while I'm up there this summer.

 

Well, I am a designer and had access to a FDM rapid prototype machine at work. So I designed and built them myself. However, recently the machine has been moved into another department. So no more free parts!

Right now, it looks about the same. I do have a set of custom sliders ready to be welded on though.

Unfortunately, due to the sluggish economy, I wasn't able to get the SS 7.2 lift like I had wanted. I had to go the cheaper route and got the 2.5" daystar spacers for the front and OME 890's for the rear. I'll be using the stock shocks. Hopefully this lift will only be temporary, a year or two at the most. I haven't installed it yet, it is sitting in the garage, but hopefully soon.

I also was able to find a great deal on some Eagle alloy rims. I am in the process of painting them now. I'll post a thread when I get them installed, probably in 4-6 weeks.

I also just finished building a low profile cargo box. It came out real nice. I should probably post a thread about that too.

Man, I need to get busy and get all this stuff installed! So hopefully by the end of the summer the truck should look quite a bit different.

Your rig looks awesome man, I love those wheel caps too. Really unique idea. But what color are you painting the new rims? Black, gold, ?

 

The new wheels will be black, but with a bronze colored ring. It should look really sharp!

Here's a pic of the wheels. The chrome ring will be bronze. The bolts around the perimeter will be black. Center cap and lug nuts will also be black.
