Yes black is hard to keep clean. But it looks great after a wash.

Yeah I have been looking at your truck a lot lately too Ric. I mainly look in the Gen 2 section. My wife has been mentioning a 4Runner for her vehicle, but I want two for myself. Plus I like having two the same color, year and all. Maybe pictures of your rig will also be my chance to get a Gen 3 in the fold. She is already warming up to the idea of a winch bumper for mine.

Erich, I agree with you...Ric's rig is awesome. Here is a pic of mine next to a stock 4Runner (Mine has a small Cornfed lift & LT265/75R16's).

 

I got the same issues with my wife too. She's currently driving a '00 LTD 4Runner that's green, but she's been begging me for over a month now to find her a black 4th Gen. Or as she likes to call them, a "Fat Black". I'm not a big fan of black cars, but if that's what she wants, I guess I'll have to start looking soon for one!
