Performance Products...Never Doing Business Again!
Long story short, I bought a pair of NIFTY Catch-all Xtreme floor mats from Performance Products. I thought the floor mats were crap not a "custom fit" whatsoever (don't buy them)! Anyway it cost me $10 to ship them to my house and another $17.50 to return them. Performance would not do anything about the shipping costs I incured while dealing with their crap for product. So I am out $27.50 for shipping for something I don't even own. Told them to remove me from their mailing list cause I won't be doing business with them again. Just needed to vent and warn!

Sorry to hear that. But, most online vendors will not pay to have an item shipped back unless it's defective. Some even charge a restocking fee. I guess there still are benefits buying from a local company.

I feel the same way you do. I live in Hawaii and a few months back, I ordered some shocks and springs from them was quoted about $80 for shipping but when they shipped the items they charged me an additional $70.
If I knew that it was going to cost that much, I wouldnt have made the purchase. If I returned it, I would have been out the $150 shipping to me in addition to shipping for the return.
Add me the the list of former customers.

I have bought stuff in the past years from them. No issues but, never had to send anything back. Maybe Performance Products has changed, perhaps a new owner or manager. Either way I will check twice for buying from them again.

I purchased my HuskyLiners from them. They were shipped to my home.
The counter person (becasue I live nearby and walked in) ordered the wrong year. I took them back in, the person behind the counter did not understand the problem, he seemed to be trying hard, but...
Well, they reordered, using the Husky Part Number I brought in (I did not have to pay for shipping again). The new ones were deliverd fine, though it was about a two week delay over their mistake. It took about another week or so to get all the credit/payment info corrected by them for the return and reorder. It worked out okay, but was 4 times the hassle it should have been.

I agree performance products is a let down---I bought the hella micro de's from them and had a reciept. They corroded in 14 months and they wouldn't take them back or respond to any of my emails---although I got a lot of promises for a response from there auto-responder! You can spend your money with nicer folks and usually get a much better deal---just use them for there catolog.
