looks good, but how do you get at the hood latch? Is there enough room to get your fingers in there?

I was wondering if someone was gonna ask that. The kit comes with a piece you mount to the latch handle that extends upward, you just slide a finger inbetween the hood and grill and push it over.

Nice grille. I have that one too. You should look into the T-Rex billet grille for the bumper also. Click the link at the bottom of my sig and look at mine. I like it. FWIW, you don't have to put the extra piece on the latch to open the hood. All you have to do is bend the outer portion of the stock latch lever up a little--works fine.

For these "billet grills"....Do these fully replace the existing one or do they mount on top of it? The 04 stock grill is hideous.

You have to cut all the vertical "ribs" out of the stock grille to mount the billet.

Hey TRD, when you removed the stock front tag holder for the lower insert, it didn't leave any holes any where did it like some cars do. Ive never paid attention to how that thing is mounted to the front bumper.

I special ordered my truck. I was lucky and was able to tour the factory and watch my truck being built from start to finish. My wife is a QC inspector there. I made a request that the front license plate holder not be put on because I knew i was going to put that grill in the bumper.
