Question Painting my new runner!

My "rusty '88" was recently stolen. After a month of work on a new motor and interior it was ripped off the very first day I had it on the road. It was never recovered so I just bought my self a beautiful '87 runner with under 200k on it! This baby is in great shape and was never off-roaded. I've done the body work and taken out the usual minor rust spots and now I'm ready to paint. Since it is an sr5 I was hoping to dress it up with those trendy quarter stripes that I've seen. If you don'nt know what Im talking about, here they are.

I was wondering what exactly they are made of. Are they a decals or are they painted on? Also, where can I get them? Does anybody know of a place? (preferably in Canada). I know it would be easy to paint them yourself but I was hoping to get as close to the stock ones as possible. Thanks!

I believe those are factory decals, so check the dealership for availability.

They are indeed factory decals, I have those exact ones on my '88. Some say you can still get them from Toyota, others say you can't. So you might have to call around, if all else fails try a body shop.

I remember finding a link to a website that offers the factory style decal stripes like that. I can't remember where I found it though. Do some searches for the 4Runner SR5 striping.
