i was trying to stay away from ebay what is the diff. in the 99 and the 02 grills?

 

Nothing wrong with Ebay. I've been buying and selling for almost 8 years. Most of the things on my 4 Runner are from Ebay including my supercharger, lift, TVs etc.

The difference is just the style. There are 3 different grills that fit the 3rd gen. You can fit a '96-'98, '99-'00 or '01-'02. I put a '96-'98 on my '00 and modified it.
