PA inspection and deck plate
#2
I'm from PA. I'm speculating, but if you have the plate in it will function as it did when it left the factory. Should not be an issue. I had a K&N FIPK (read open element) on mine and never had a problem.

I'm in PA and have had the deckplate mod (cap off) for the past 2 inspections at the dealership. No problem from them. But if you're worried about it, screw the cap on for the inspection.

i hope "you'ze" PA guys can make it up to one of the street drag events left this year. we definitely need more 'Yotas to show - i'm sick of seeing nothing but J-things in the compact class. the next EC4WDA event with street drags is Aug 22 in Kempton. There is another Labor Day weekend, at Jersey Shore, and our club's event is 9/10 in Kingsdale. They are all a "run what ya brung" type deal where you are put in classes based on engine and vehicle size.
I'm the only Toy so far at these events this year, so if you can't make it or don't want to run, please pass the word to your buddies. All the events are listed on ec4wda.org/regionB
