Igniter circut malfunction.
I have a 90 model 4 Runner with A 3.4 swapped.
The timing dont seem to advance right when it's running good. When it's running bad it won't even idle and has no power.

I had several other codes which were P0304 P0305 P0306 and a random misfire code. Plugs and wires are new. I also tried a spare set of ignition coils with no luck. I've tried seafoam and premium gasoline. What else do I need to try?

Well I found the prob.Windsheild leaks water into the ECM and it don't like that very much.Dried it out and all is well.Now to fix that leak.

thats good it wasnt anything too serious

 

I also found another plob that contributed to this.A broken spark plug.Must have been bad out of the box.
