outside temperature sensor

Do the 3rd gens have an Outside Termometer? If so, where does it display the temperature? i am looking for a sensor to fit to my Prado and was thinking that i could use a 3rd gen part since the Prado part is so hard to find.

Yes they have a sensor.I was told that it sits if front of the radiator. The display is actually part of the Heat/AC controls inside, the button on the left that reads out/t is supposed to activate it.However mine hasn't worked since I got my OO'runner and it only had 22000mi on it.All I get is a -- on the display.I have OHM'd it out and the sensor itself is acting like it works so I gave up.I'm only guessing that if it's the controls inside it's not gonna be cheap. If anybody else has some advice let me know. Thanks
