It all depends if you have the extra to rebuild the whole front suspension go for it.
If not just fix what is needed .
If you measure things and get the new one on just like the old one you might not need a front end alignment.
Are you having this done or doing it yourself??
Might help you to decide.

you don't _need_ to do both, but obviously you should check... I couldn't get my inner and outer separated when doing inner last time, so replaced both (I am sure real mechanics have a trick to break them free?)
