Not sure about pricing on these but was considering buying a red top when my battery goes out. The price at Costco is $102. If the blue is only $20 more, this would probably be a better deal since I have a video system and plan on a sound system in the near future.

fwiw, i'd heard that blue tops were marine (corrosion resistant terminals) batteries and are available in starting or deep cycle; any truth to this?

well my interstate battery just crapped out and nobody wants to honor the warrenty. so it looks like i might be picking up a Blue top soon.
