OK - for those of you who saw my suggestion thread...

I'm a so I built my own database. It's very early in testing, but I could use some help populating the DB. Right now, I've only tested it in IE, and there is no reporting mechanism in place. But if any of you want to tell me about tires you've had FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE with, I'd love to get some more entries in the DB.

Had no problem submitting some data using firefox, though some of the red text was hard for me to read on the dark gray. Looks good!

 

I just added my opinions on my Dueler Revos and had no problems. Using IE though.

 

I tried to do this too a couple years ago but I never got around to publishing it. I still have the data from 133 respondants. If you want this data, email me.

 

OK, I threw together a very basic report page. I'll add fancies to it later (i.e. searchability and such).

 

The entry & report page look good from my linux box running opera at home, nice site you have! You can delete my last entry, it was just to test other browsers for ya.

 

Submitted perfectly through Safari 1.2.3.

Is there going to be a chart listing all the tires for quick searching? Right now I can only go through all the various postings but no way to search "by tire".
Great database, hope it turns into a good resource.

 

There is a very basic reporting page - basically just lists all the reviews.

 

That is the next iteration of the reporting script. Actually, the next iteration will be to show which tire manufacturers have reviews in the db, and how many reviews they have. Then I'll get to making it searchable.

I gotta do this in baby steps so I don't get over my head too fast.
