OME Lift Installed.. w/ pics
As you some of yall know I've had this stuff for a while, just never the time or equipment to get it put on. Well, I finally got both along with the help from a couple buddies and finished it up in roughly 4-5 hours ( took a break for dinner too
) For now, it's just poser shots but I'll get some action shots as soon as I get my diff drop on. Gotta do that tomorrow. Time for some new tires $$$
OME 883/891 coils with Bilstein 5125/5100

I'll post a couple pics of the cv's when I get my diff drop on tomorrow. Can't wait to get some new tires.

I've got 883s with a TJM-15 and M8000 up front and they are still a little stiff... your front end has got to be riding awfully rough! Looks good, but I would sure think hard about putting some more weight up front.

yes.. the front is a tad higher bc of the medium 883 coils. It's not rough or stiff. I'm guessing the 883s have a lot to do with why I'm bouncing all over the road when I hit any kind of bump. I'm hoping to get a bumper in the middle of feb or march. I'll get some measurements later tonight when I get off work.

More weight up front would definitely help bring it down to level with the rear and would also help ride quality some too. Nice to see you went with coils instead of spacers. And, bigger meats are a must to fill out the wheel wells!
Congrats on a great looking rig!

thanks for the compliments everyone.. I want to get tires first but looks like my ride quality is going to SUCK until I get more weight up front so I guess going to be purchasing the bumper first. Would like a shrockworks but no way I'm waiting 6+ months for it. I'll be looking for a Taco ARB most likely.
Measured the distances from the hub to fender. Rear was 59" and front was 63" so there is definately a little rake. I think a bumber will take care of this.
I purchased everything from toytech and The 5100's I believe are custom valved to be able to fit on the 4Runners. Tax and shipping it was around 700-800 give or take and I used a 5% discount coupon code through toytec.

if the 5100's are from toytec then they are the tacoma 5100's, and they are the reason you are getting bounciness. they are underdamped for the 4runner, just do a search and you'll see others have had the same issues

Here is a guy in CA with a shrockworks bumper and winch for $1200 if you are interested.
