OME heavy with Rancho 9000?

Has anyone had or used the Rancho 9000's adjustable rear shocks with OME Heavy springs? I know many of you use the OME comfort shocks but my Ranchos are adjustable and are already on the truck. Oh that dreaded top bolt. That thing sucks.

I plan on pairing SAW coil-overs with this rear set up from Mike at Xtreme.

Also kind of a side question, I can't stand the Ford explorer type of body roll I'm getting. Should I also replace my sway bars with addco or will my suspension set up be enough?

How easy is the install on these (all) as I can't afford to pay ridiculous labor charges? SSchaefer has a great site with instructions good enough for the mildly retarded, but I'm not sure if they're good 'nuf for me. JK.

Thanks to Schaefer: http://fastq.com/~sschaefer/index.html

Hi there, if you are planning on running OME coils in the rear, then the only shock I would recommend you pair the coils with are the OME shocks as they are designed to be used together. If you want to run the Downey rear coils, then I would recommend you utilize the Bilsteins in the rear. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Regards,

Mike
