OME Coils/HD Bils...?

I have been reading around here and there and I have read that people are finding the HD OME coils to be too harsh with the HD bilsteins. Has anyone here tried this setup? Are the non-HD Coils a better bet?
Thanks!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe anyone is running the OME, Bilstein combo. I have only heard a couple people discuss this to get feedback if it would work or not.

You should read through these write-ups. They may not be the exact combo you are asking about but at least it would give you other options:

This was my original plan, OME HD coils and HD Bilstein shocks, but when I talked to ARB/OME salesrep, they said that this is the wrong combination and that the ride will definitely be harshed. So I ended up with Downey HD coils and HD Bilstein shocks. And as I remember talking to one of the salesrep at ARB that both HD and non-HD OME are also progressive springs and eventually will sag in the long run.

OME springs need OME shocks.

Don't mix, it will not work right.

Bilsein shock are very stiff, OME shocks even the HD ones are quite soft in comparison.

stock {or PP's} and spacers, or, go with OME/OME combo.

I ran OME HD and Bils HD for almost a year and loved it! There was not much of a difference in harshness when compared to the PP springs and Bils I ran for 2 years prior to that. But the OME setup was MUCH better off road. I don't think they were too harsh at all. I think it is a good, vaible setup. Do I think you could do better? Yeah, but I never ran the OME shocks so I can't address that setup - but the OME and Bils were NOT too harsh (in my opinion).

Thanks Dread,
I think I might go with the OME for the O/R performance. I'm not too picky when it comes to harshness. Though the roads in savannah are not quite as good as they could be... nothing can be worse than my buddies RSX and that doesn't seem to bad.

Which reminds me... anybody interested in some PP Lowering springs?? never installed!!
