OME 891 or OME 890 rear springs

Expedition--Heavy duty

Obviously one is going to be more firm than the other but which would better suit my needs? Lots of on and offroad driving carrying substantial amount of gear" camping, cycling, canoe, tools, spare parts, etc.

any ideas?

UMMM no Old Man Emu "OME" Heavy duty and expedition rated springs.
Just wanted to see if anyone was using them.

I'd go with the 891s if you are going to carry lots of gear and tow.
The may ride a bit stiff unloaded but not too badly.

id go with the 891s also. Every couple of months i go to a natural spring to get drinking water. I but about 20-5 gallon jugs in the back and it rides nicely

For a quick fix? Lets say Im leaving for a road trip in 2 wks cant afford the OME system right at this moment could I use sparecs to offset the sag I will expierience when the truck is loaded "rear"? If so who makes the most reasonable spring spacers? or should I just say ˟˟˟˟ it and get the OME and be done with it?

Ive got the heavy duty ones one mine and empty its a bit rough, but once you load it down with 2-300 lbs of gear, it rides ausome and no ass sag

Oh yeah? That is one of the resons I ask but I have to get on it. We are headed "wife and I" from orlando up the eastern coast . obx is one of many stops,,,, them up through VA over to the weat side of VA then down the mountain range all the way home. 4-6 day trip with Surfing and mountain biking and camping and lions and tigers and you get the picture. Sooo best way to acess outerbanks from the south I saw that little ass road on a map that looks like we can take it all the way via a ferry or two.
