OME 891 coils, is there a right and left coil?

I got my axle swap to 4.30's and locker done but my rear end feels like it's dancing over bumps. I put the 891's on 2 or 3 years ago and can't remember if there was a right and left side. I thought it was possible I had the longer coil on the wrong side and it was further off-centering the rear suspension. I definitely need an alignment after swapping the front diff and rear axle, but if I have to change the rear springs I want to wait and do it when the rear is correct. Thanks!

Yes, there is.......the longer coil always goes on the gastank (driver's) side.

Was there a color marking or anything to distinguish which is which? I'd rather not have to take it all apart to realize if I got lucky and got them in the right places.

They usually had tags but they were often unreliable because these springs were produced in Aussieland thus they drive on the other side of the road (ie the same springs produced for the Aussie market were also imported over here.....to further confuse things, they switched the tags at times as well). The answer is no, you'll need to pull them out set them side by side on level ground and the taller of the two goes on the driver's side. You might also want to buy some OME trim packers so that if one side is off you can use those to help level the truck again.

If it were me I would fill the gas tank and then set a level on the back bumber. See how much it is off and see if it is worth taking it apart. If it sits level or leans to the passenger side slightly, I don't see a point to taking it apart.
