People have reported additional drippage from already existing drips going in either direction, but functionally, there should be no problems. Both synth and dino contain additives to be more friendly to seals, so the old problem of drying them out is not a problem anymore. If anything, the change back to dino should be easier than the swap to synth because you don't have all the crud getting cleaned out that you have when you go from dino to synth.

You should be alright. I switched back to dino after my full synthetic started leaking when the engine was pushed hard. I haven't had so much as a drop leak out after the switch back to dino 20k ago.

i've heard stuff about amsoil's viscosity increasing over time?
after a couple thousand miles on 5w30 dino oil in my new engine, i think i'm going to try some shell rotella 5w40 synthetic.
